Regular Monitor Function
Baby Unit is placed close to baby’s bed, you can move around the house with the parent unit.
When the baby cries, the Baby Unit contacts the
Parent Unit.
You will hear your child on the Parent Unit.
You can go to check on your child.
Dial Up Function
Baby Unit is connected to the phone line.
When the baby cries the Baby Unit calls the phone number you have programmed to warn you.
You will hear your child on your mobile or selected landline phone and can talk back to comfort your child if you would like to.
You can call the Baby Unit from your mobile/landline to check on your child.
How does the dial-up function work?
The Dial-Up Monitor responds to baby’s sounds. When sounds reach the crying level, the monitor automatically rings your choice of telephone numbers. You can programme it to call your home phone, your mobile phone or any other telephone number.
Is the dial-up function always available?
The dial-up functionality depends on a good phone connection. As with a mobile phone, the connection is subject to interruption in unfavourable circumstances. Do not solely rely on your baby monitor, and always remain in the vicinity of your child.
Can I dial-up my baby?
Yes! The Dial-Up Monitor also allows you to phone the baby monitor, and broadcasts your voice over the intercom. It’s a great way to check in on baby and say a few comforting words.
Can I also use this baby monitor with the regular parent unit?
Yes. This is a regular baby monitor with all the normal baby monitor functions and a parent unit. When you want more flexibility in baby monitoring you can switch to dialer mode and use for example your mobile phone as parent unit.
