The Spectra S1 hospital grade electric breast pump is simple and easy to use. It is lightweight and extremely quiet, allowing you to pump without disturbing your sleeping baby. The S1 is portable and quickly rechargeable, making pumping easy wherever you are. It has a built-in rechargeable battery (approx. 3 hours when on full charge), and is also quiet and discreet for soothing pumping. The S1 includes the feature of adjustable suction levels, providing a more natural flow of milk, which when in "massage mode" simulates the natural suckling of baby.  The S1 has a closed system to prevent milk backflow, making it safe and hygienic for you and your baby. The unit has a built in gentle nightlight and timer, along with 2 breast shield sets to allow for double pumping.

Guidance
  • When single pumping, do not remove the air cap from the second nozzle.
  • The pump will auto power off after 30 mins as a safety feature.
  • The cycle is speed control - which is how many times the pump 'sucks' and realises per minute.
  • The vacuum is suction power control - and we suggest to start off with the vacuum level on low, and then gradually increase it to a comfortable level.

Everyone raves about this pump and I wanted to love it. I was hoping it would be a game changer! I’ve been using the Philips Avent Double Electric pump and the flanges are much more comfortable (the silicon inserts). I am going to purchase a different size flange for the Spectra in hopes it will help. I do appreciate the night light, timer, and different modes. I decided to purchase this pump because I was tired of being tethered to the wall and wanted a bit more freedom. It’s a much stronger, hospital grade pump than the Avent.

Bought this as a replacement for another popular brand and has so far worked far more effectively. As I'm exclusively pumping parts do need to be replaced regularly. Ideally some parts could be purchases in multiples to keep costs down for genuine parts.
